I am a South African Citizen and qualified TEFL teacher. Teaching English in Bologna, mostly private classes to adults, university students and children. Was in the corporate workplace for 26 years as a Business Analyst. Bologna is my new home and I have all the necessary permits and documents to legally work in Italy. An articulate English teacher who is able to effectively communicate with students from diverse backgrounds or varying degrees of ability. My vast experience of working in a diverse academic setting as well as the corporate business world. Developing lessons for a wide range of students Detailed Work Experience • Plan, prepare and deliver lessons to a range of classes and age groups • Prepare and set tests, examination papers and exercises • Mark and provide appropriate feedback on oral and written work • Devise, write and produce new materials, including audio and visual resources • Organize and get involved in social and cultural activities such as sports competitions, school parties, dinners and excursions • Attend and contribute to training sessions • Participate in marketing events for the language school • Prepare information for inspection visits and other quality assurance exercises • Undertake administrative tasks, such as keeping student registers and attendance records. Teaching Business English • Deliver the skills and knowledge necessary for students to function as responsible citizens in the business world. • Integrate competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plans. • Utilize curricula that reflect the diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds of the students served. • Classes must be tailored to each student or group’s needs.

LEARNING TO MAKE MY OWN JEWELLERY ON HOLIDAY: BEAD WEAVING IS A FUN AND CREATIVE WAY TO MAKE YOUR OWN JEWELLERY, I LEARNED THIS ON HOLIDAY. I TOOK SOME CLASSES LEARNING MOSAIC, AND MADE MY OWN CROSS TO HANG IN THE HALLWAY.
